In The Spirit Of Love

 

“You shall love the Lord, your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.” – Mark 12:30

As the sun set on Valentine’s, and the day came to pass…the usual thought came to mind that we don’t truly need a day to celebrate love.

We can celebrate love all the days of our lives.

Love is much like a ray of light that expands into a rainbow as it passes through a prism. Love exists as multiple expressions in our lives!

Knowing that love is everywhere – present around me, within me and as me – assures me of my place in the world.

I embrace every opportunity to expand my love much like that rainbow. As we mature into our evolution, we realize there is so much more to love. I feel divine love emanating from my heart. I express love – as do we all – in quiet, in joy, in relationships with family, friends, coworkers, and those unfamiliar to me, in work, in play, in service to others, and most definitely in my private, personal worship.

When we understand the spectrum of love, we can become conscious of how deep our connection is with ourselves and the other people in and out of our lives.

I embrace every opportunity to be divine love in expression.

Yet, I can certainly stray from this path.

Can’t we all?

After all, we aren’t infallible.

We are human.

When I begin to recognize that feeling coming over me, I gently assure myself from the depths of my soul, that love is everywhere and these assurances open my heart and put my feet back on the proper path of love progress.

These are the stepping stones to my continued evolution and alignment with those around me, the universe and God!

I need love, we need love, the universe needs love…

Mahatma Ghandi said it best, “Where there is love, there is life.”
